THE MANI PENINSULA
Mani is known for its dramatic landscapes, rocky mountains, deep-blue sea, and villages built from carved local stone. It is one of the most authentically preserved regions in Greece and it offers a perfect mix of serene beaches, cultural sights, and delicious cuisine.


To Athens or Kalamata
BY PLANE
Athens International Airport (ATH) is Greece’s main airport and is well-connected to all major airports in Europe and the Americas. From Athens Airport, Mani can be reached by car/taxi in approximately 3h30m. If you plan to travel around Mani/the Peloponnese, car rental is highly recommended as it offers the most flexibility.
Kalamata Airport (KLX) is the closest airport to Mani. The trip from Kalamata Airport to Mani by car/taxi takes approximately 1h55m.

BY CAR
Once in Athens or Kalamata
The easiest way to get to Mani from Athens is a 3h30m car ride – most of which will be on a highway.
From Kalamata, getting to Mani by car/taxi takes approximately 1h55m.
